# thread.usage

> Which threads are burning CPU right now, and how much of the last window each took

Samples per-thread CPU time through a low-level system call, on a fixed
window (5 seconds by default, configurable).

A hardware run exists but didn't produce a clean capture this time —
background thread activity on the test device outweighed the provoked
signal. The description above comes from the SDK's own implementation.

**Config** (`cpu.thread.usage:key=value,...`)

* `windowSeconds` (int 1...30): How often thread CPU usage is sampled and reported. Default 5.
