# faults

> Every error and fault any framework logged inside this process

Reads the unified log inside the process. Readings arrive on a fixed window
regardless of activity, one per distinct line that logged in it.

**Config** (`log.faults:key=value,...`)

* `subsystem` (string, 256 characters max): Only this subsystem's errors and faults. Default: every subsystem.

Real output from `basset request get`, captured against a running app —
trimmed here to one `error` and one `fault` row out of several repeated
lines in the window:
