# window.touches

> Every touch the app's windows received, when each one began and ended, and how far the drags between them travelled

Intercepts touch delivery on the app's windows at load time. One reading
each time a touch begins, ends, or is cancelled.

**Config** (`uikit.window.touches:key=value,...`)

* `hierarchy` (bool): Walk the view hierarchy at a touch's own location the instant it begins, and attach it to that touch's reading by a shared id. Off by default — this is the O(views) walk `uikit.view.hierarchy`'s own metadata explains, paid on `.began` only, not on every touch.
