Reads the kernel’s own wakeup counters through a low-level system call, on a fixed window, separating ordinary wakeups from the kind that pulled the whole platform out of idle. A hardware run exists but self-skipped this time — the device’s ambient wakeup rate was already too high to isolate the provoked signal from it. The description above comes from the SDK’s own implementation.
